This video was produced for a local University called Cedarville University. Cinevita Films has had a long history of working with College Marketing video and University promotional videos. This particular video was produced for Cedarville University as their main video that they promote and distribute. We visited alumni from all across the country who graduated from this university. This “where are they now?” approach was very compelling as potential students and parents of prospective students are heavily considered with the return on investment of the rising cost of education. Hearing from their peers on the return of their recent investment into their education is a great way to be set at ease. This is a form of a customer testimonial video that we talked about in a previous blog post. In this form we are interviewing previous alumni and seeing them in their daily environment after their college years.
Motion Graphics | Cincinnati Video Production
For some projects, Motion Graphics or Animation are a better avenue for communicating your companies capabilities and vision. Motion graphics and explainer videos are able to be polished to the point of perfection and often compressed to a much shorter time length than live action videos typically can be. We use a variety of illustration and styles, from number oriented motion graphics to character driven animations. We work with industry leading illustrators and animators to produce top notch motion graphics videos and are proud to bring this level of quality to our clients.
Cincinnati Video Production | Roof Construction
One of our favorite things about the video production industry is the fact that every day we are working with an extremely wide range of companies. We work with companies ranging from top fortune 500 companies all the way to local coffee shops, spanning almost every industry out there. Construction, or more specifically, roofing construction is one area that we recently started shooting a lot of videos for. Roofing construction is a particularly challenging industry to promote, as most people are used to sleazy salesmen who are part of fly-by-night companies who don’t keep their promises. The team at Shake Guys is anything but this, they hold themselves to impossibly high standards, yet always over deliver. I would trust them with my own home, and I was happy to create a long series of marketing videos to help them expand their business.
On set for a Non-Profit Video Production
This October, Cinevita Films spent a few weeks working with a local church by the name of Crossroads. We produced several dozen videos that were being used in a financial campaign to raise money to help the city of Cincinnati Ohio as well as struggling cities around the world. This series of videos included musical videos, teaching videos, testimony videos, interview videos, etc. We were honored to be a part of this video production and to see the change that will happen in our own city of Cincinnati as a result of this campaign.
Measuring the Analytics of Quality
Corporate Capabilities Video | MARSH Open Innovation from Cinevita Films on Vimeo.
Our team recently created a video for an agency who had been pitching for a $20 million chunk of business. They had been pitching for months without success. They were spending thousands of dollars flying their team to the potential clients offices trying desperately to communicate their vision. On a last ditch attempt, they contracted with Cinevita Films to produce a short video promoting their company and capabilities. They used this video in their next sales meeting and were able to have the confidence to close that $20 million dollar piece of business. What do you think their ROI was on that video?
Retail Grocery TV Commercial | Cincinnati Video Production
Cinevita Films was honored to be selected to shoot and edit over 25 TV commercials for this national Giant in the Retail grocery market. These tv commercials had a wide media buy and was part of the largest advertising campaigns in the history of advertising. Even though this project was relatively straight forward and simple, it did come with its own set of unique challenges, as every video project does. On that note, video production tends to be about 50% problem solving. For this project we were given the challenge of following a shopper from one store to the other to document her experience and the amount of money she spent. This series of television commercials, all shot in Cincinnati Ohio, proved to be a unique experience.
First Person Perspective | College Marketing
First Person Perspective Video | College Marketing from Cinevita Films on Vimeo.
We were contracted to produce an video showing the experience of a college student. We wanted to go a step beyond and produce something that would really stand out in the crowd of college marketing. We decided to build a rig that would put the camera at eye level, which would allow us to capture a first person perspective of the hero student and their daily activities. While we may have looked completely ridiculous as we were filming, running around with a helmet camera, but in the end we and the client were pleased with the results.
Slow Motion Video Production

Art is continually evolving. The art of filmaking is evolving faster than it ever has before, almost to the point of being difficult to keep up. We continually strive to keep up with the technological advances, as well as industry trends and the needs of our clients. One of the ways we have done this recently is by investing into a high speed camera.

One of the areas that we have specialized in is College and University promotional videos. This high specific niche comes with its own set of challenges that we have work through in the past decade in order to produce some of the top work in this field. Video has the power to connect with you audience in a way that nothing else can. But first you must identify your audience and learn how to best connect with them. Millennial want to here an authentic story, and not something overly produced or scripted. For this reason, we approach this project primarily using what are called man-on-the-street interviews. This authentic approach allows for the audience to be more immersed as they are hearing real stories that are unscripted and unprepared. Had this video been scripted with a voice over narrating the story, immediately you loose believability and the audience starts to drift.
