This video was produced for a local University called Cedarville University. Cinevita Films has had a long history of working with College Marketing video and University promotional videos. This particular video was produced for Cedarville University as their main video that they promote and distribute. We visited alumni from all across the country who graduated from this university. This “where are they now?” approach was very compelling as potential students and parents of prospective students are heavily considered with the return on investment of the rising cost of education. Hearing from their peers on the return of their recent investment into their education is a great way to be set at ease. This is a form of a customer testimonial video that we talked about in a previous blog post. In this form we are interviewing previous alumni and seeing them in their daily environment after their college years.

I have had a long relationship with HeartSong. A few years ago we produced a 1 hour live concert DVD that they have been touring with and selling. HeartSong is a musical group that travels around the country during the summer to promote Cedarville Unniversity. There are 5 different HeartSong teams that travel. We were hired to produce a short promotional video about Cedarville that the Heartsong teams could take around and show. The unique concept here is that each video is customized to the different teams. So essentially, all 5 videos are very similar, just the message is delivered by team members from each HeartSong team. This way, each team interacts with highschool students through the week at different camps and events, and then at the end of the week, the students get to watch a video about Cedarville, starring the team members they have come to know. The message is much more relevant and impactful this way. Here is a sample of one of the videos.

Cedarville University hired us back in January to produce a series of 15 videos covering every department they offer. This was quite the undertaking. We interviewed nearly 120 students and professors and attended several classes and events for each different department. Here is an example of what each of those videos ended up looking like. Over the past few years Cinevita Films has produced hundreds of educational related video.
Non Profit Promotional Video | Beautiful Things
Alumni Relations at Cedarville University asked us to create a series of videos for their 2011 Homecoming. The theme was “Beautiful Things” and everything was surrounded by the concept of painting and God creating something out of our lives. To promote Homecoming, we created a quick video that we shot at a painting studio.

We also shot 3 different interviews with different alumni of Cedarville. Their stories were amazing. Our goal was to have a very raw feeling interview setup, where at times we see production gear, and we incorporate camera moves that normally we wouldn’t use, just to add a unique feel to the video.

The Children’s Advocacy Center approached us and asked us to create a series of videos for a fundraising event they were hosting. The event was a boxing match, and all of the proceeds would benefit different organizations in the area. Two of the organizations that benefited from the event were the Children’s Advocacy Center Region 15, and the Children’s Tumor Foundation. All in all, we created 3 different videos. The first video was a quick promo that played before the event began, just to build excitement. The two teams that were boxing were local firefighters and local police officers. We made a quick video of the two teams arriving at the event and walking in.

The second video we made was a promotional video for the Children’s Advocacy Center Region 15. For this we set up a simple interview with a few different people that worked at this center, and then just gathered some B-roll of the building.
The final piece we created was a story about a boy name Jesse Markland. This family is amazing, and it was such an honor to get to know them while we were there. Their story is just amazing. I won’t comment too much on their story, but the video is well worth watching.
